Bullet Slick^tm has been undergoing limited field testing since June 1993. Several iterative formulations have resulted in the test batch dated 12-20-97. Lubrication Specialists, Inc. believes this product to be the ideal, all-round lubricant for all shooters. Testing to date has been done by several experienced shooters using both stainless and chrome moly steel barrels. Testing also involves all aspects of hand loading. Documented results include:

1. Reduction in pressure (untreated barrels produced cratered primers, whereas the phenomenon disappeared with treated barrels.

2. Noticeable increase in accuracy with all tested weapons including a 35 year-old Remington 40XB in .222 Remington. Using identical before and after loads, the moa groups decreased from 0.5 moa to 0.3 moa. Ruger Blackhawk in .41 magnum improved from 12 to 6 moa.

3. Marked reduction in bore fouling in all guns tested.

4. Treated barrels stayed cool longer. Impact point did not shift nor group size deteriorate even when barrels were to hot too touch.

5. Beneficial effects were realized regardless of metal composition of bullet.

6. Is used on valuable antiques. Product has no effect on finished surfaces, including wood, metal and plastic. It does not harm bluing and is ideal preventative for rust.

7. Excellent bore cleaner. When soot accumulates, run dry patch then clean patch wetted with Bullet Slick^tm.

8. Excellent to decrease force required for resizing or for reforming.

Recommended Procedure for the use of Bullet Slick^tm :Wet a patch with Bullet Slick^tm. Wipe each cartridge/bullet with wetted patch. One patch will treat approximately 50 cartridges or more, depending on cartridge/bullet size. Very little goes a long way. Run wetted patch through bore. Slides and other moving metal parts should also be treated with Bullet Slick^tm. With a dry patch, wipe off excess from treated bullet, inside of bore and other treated metal parts.

Test Description:

Sixteen (16) cartridges were used in this test. Each test sample consists of 2 cartridges.

1. Sample number 1 was wetted (wiped) with Bullet Slick™ and wiped dry (the recommended procedure).

2. The seven (7) other samples were submersed together in three inches (3") of Bullet Slick^tm at room ambient for the following periods of time:

3. After each specified time period elapsed, two cartridges were extricated from the Bullet Slick^tm, wiped dry, wrapped in paper towels and stored in separate plastic bags.

4. The test cartridges and remainder of the box of (50) cartridges were delivered to San Diego Police Equipment for firing on the summer of 1998.

5. Results of firing; All test samples fired successfully.
