This is good stuff. I use it in a 1994 Plymouth van, 220,000 miles, a 1989 Honda, 294,000 miles and a John Deere 4230 tractor (over 6000 hours), no engine overhauls, no major problems, the Honda and van are driven between 80 and 200 miles a day. Jlm

Dear Sir: Please be informed that my family and I have used FORMULA 3tm for approximately 3 years. My son, Blake, a second lieutenant Marine, stationed at MCAS Beaufort, SC, purchased a brand new Dodge Intrepid in January, 2001, here, in Chadron, Nebraska. He drove his new car without FORMULA 3tm until his first oil change. During this time as a new owner he watched his gas mileage closely. Upon his first oil change, he added FORMULA 3tm and then drove cross-country from Chadron, NE to Beaufort, SC. Upon arrival he was quite excited to tell us how impressed he was with the approximate four mpg increase in his mileage with the addition of FORMULA 3tm. To date he continues to have the increased mileage and likewise continues to use FORMULA 3tm. Similarly, my wife purchased her new 2002 Dodge Durango and experienced the very same increase in mileage after adding FORMULA 3tm. I drive a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 4 x 4 pick-up with the 1500 vortex engine (the new edition of the 327). I have used FORMULA 3tm in my pick-up since its purchase over two years ago. Presently I have 105,000 miles on the odometer and average 18 mpg. Most importantly however, I have just become aware that there is a "cold start knock" problem with this engine causing GM to issue a service bulletin regarding the problem. Although they have stated upon engine tear-down and inspection this problem has caused no internal damage to the engine, it would be reasonable to remain gravely concerned. However, I have never experienced any "cold start knock" with my truck and it has endured two northwestern Nebraska severe winters. As I have stated, I have used FORMULA 3tm in my truck since I purchased it. I believe there is no other reasonable conclusion than the addition of FORMULA 3tm has prevented any "cold start knock" problem. On behalf of my family and me I thank you for the excellent product and recommend it highly to anyone wanting increased mileage and those Chevrolet owners of the vortex engine who want to avoid or eliminate the "cold start knock" problem. February 21. 1999 "Three months after adding FORMULA 3 tm to my car's oil, I left town for three weeks and had a friend "start" the car while I was gone. Unfortunately. the oil level had gotten low because the car puffed out smoke during each start from a signal or stop (burned oil). My friend, unaware of this. drove the car approximately 300 miles with no oil registering on the dipstick. Six months later, the engine is still running fine and has gradually stopped smoking. ![]() August 26, 1993 To Whom It My Concern I, George Cossolias, own a 1982 Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo-Diesel Serial Number WBD AB33A1CB002982. I purchased the car when it was brand new. I attest that I have used Formula 3tm metal conditioner in my car since it had about 2,000 miles. I have driven the car since then for a total to date of 440,521 miles* or 708,575 kilometers. At NO time did I have my engine overhauled or have any major engine repair done outside the usual factory recommended services. Even the timing chain is original. George Cossolias, CPA, El Cajon, CA * 591,332 Miles as of 1-28-97 - Still No Overhaul MERCEDES-BENZ of San Diego says,"After all these miles, horsepower at rear wheels is 82 @ 4000RPM. Factory standard is the same - 82 @ 4000 RPM".
