What is Formula 3tm?
Formula 3tm is an EP (Extreme Pressure) Premium quality petroleum-based chemical lubricant that reduces friction and creates smoother metal surfaces. It is like no other engine or oil treatment on the market today. It is specially formulated to bond with and treat the metal instead of the lubricant. Unlike many other additives, it contains NO SOLID PARTICLES. Formula 3tm will not plate or "build up" and does not eliminate critical clearances. The lubrication market is saturated with lubrication additives containing solid particles such as lead, zinc, copper, PTFE's, teflon, graphites, silicon, and moly (molybdenum disulfide). These solid particles create sludge, reduce critical clearances and can clog oil passages and filters. Formula 3tm does not. Formula 3tm is a proprietary lubrication product and when used as recommended, it can be used without risk. It is recommended for use with gasoline or diesel engine oils in cars, trucks and tractors, commercial vehicles, farm vehicles and construction equipment. It is formulated to significantly outperform PTFE engine products.
How Does Formula 3tm Work?
Formula 3tm is used in conjunction with your regular lubricant. However, it works independently of the normal oil film, using the lubricant only as a vehicle to reach moving metal parts. It is classified as a boundary-film lubricant. Formula 3tmreplenishes the anti-wear, extreme pressure, antioxidant and anti-corrosion additives that are lost during normal uses of motor oils, gear oils and greases. One of the unique properties of Formula 3tm is that it has an affinity for metal, but not for other substances. It is drawn to and reacts with the metal to form what could be called a molecular skin. Once this molecular skin is established, it provides extreme lubricity and inhibits the fusion of metals thereby retarding the welding or breaking away of microscopic particles from metal surfaces. Formula 3tm continues to act, even in the absence of an oil film.
Where Can Formula 3tm be Used?
Formula 3tmcan be used in nearly all machinery that requires lubrication of any kind (see applications on page 2). Since Formula 3tm is a petroleum-based product, it can be used with oil, grease, gear lube, cutting oil or any type of petroleum-based lubricant and with many synthetics, When 3-6% (ratio: 1 to 16-32) of Formula 3tm is added to these lubricants. It adds lubrication qualities far beyond standard specifications. In short, Formula 3tm can be used most anywhere two moving pieces of metal need lubrication.
